Undefeated boxing champion Floyd Mayweather and boxing giant Manny Paquiao will hold on March 11 at the Nokia Theater, Los Angeles, the first and possibly the only press conference prior to May 2 mega fight week at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

According to a report by Foxsports, the media event is open only to accedited news / press organizations & personnel. The Mayweather-Pacquiao fight is touted to be biggest and richest bout in the history of boxing with Mayweather getting a guaranteed $ 120 Million while Pacquiao getting $80 Million. It took almost five years for these two Boxing Hall of Fame shoo-ins to strike a deal and make the fight happen.
The Foxsports report also said that given the huge publicity and worldwide interest in the bout not much promotion is required to sell the fight. Reputable boxing blogs and sites estimate cable tv pay per view prices to reach as high as $120 a piece while ringside seats at MGM Grand could reach $1,000 to $4,000 per seat.
