The newly launched app called YouTube Kids was announced in YouTube's Official Blog and is now available for free initially in the United States, at Google Play and App Store.
Design - YouTube Kids app features a brighter and more playful design for children. Users should expect bold icons, larger pictures or images and kid-friendly functionality. It will even have voice searches for those who are still learning how to read and write plus the app responds well to how little tots navigate through the site.

What Makes YouTube Kids Different?

YouTube promises content from heavyweights such as Dreamworks TV, Mother Goose Club, National Geographic Kids and even Youtube favorites Stampylonghead.
Parental Controls - Youtube Kids gives Moms, Dads and guardians a lot of controls such as:
*Timer - No need get stressed about the amount of time spent by the little ones on Youtube. Just blame the app.
*Sound - You can manipulate ambient music / sounds to suit your & kids' needs.
*Search - You can limit what videos your kids can watch.
